808 Bass Architect
Design 808s and sub-bass lines.

Pick a key, a scale and a style, and 808 Bass Architect writes an 808 pattern with slides and glides for you. Listen to it, then open it in the MIDIGEN studio to fine-tune the notes. It runs in your browser.

How it works

From your input to editable MIDI.

Choose key and stylePick the root key and a scale (natural minor, harmonic minor, major, Phrygian), then a style: Trap Heavy Bounce, UK Drill Glide Matrix, Jersey Bounce 808 or Smooth Neo Sub.
Shape the patternSet the tempo, a length of 4, 8 or 16 bars, how much it slides and how often it jumps an octave. The step view shows each hit and glide, and you can listen to it first.
Generate and editOpen the 808 line in the MIDIGEN studio's piano roll, with the slides written as pitch bend, then export the MIDI file.

Good to know

  • It writes a single sub-bass line: one note at a time, with slides between notes.
  • Slide intensity runs from clean notes to constant glides; octave jumps from low sub only to constant flips.
  • The patterns are generated by rules, not from your audio.
