Loop Escaper
Turn a 4-bar loop into 16 bars that go somewhere.

Drop in a short MIDI loop, or start from a demo loop, pick a structure and a length, and Loop Escaper writes the variations, fills, breakdown, build and drop around it. Audition the result, then open it in the studio to edit. Everything runs in your browser.

How it works

From a loop to a section map to editable MIDI.

Give it a loopDrop a .mid or .midi file of 1 to 8 bars with drums and/or melodic parts, or pick one of the three demo loops. The bars and tempo are read for you.
Choose where it goesPick one of four structures and a length of 16 or 32 bars. Switch drum fills on or off, pick a fill style, and reroll the seed for a new set of variations.
Audition and open in the studioRead the section map, listen to the whole arrangement, then open it in the studio to edit the notes and export the MIDI file.

Good to know

  • The result is MIDI tracks, one per part of your loop, plus a chord lane worked out from the melodic parts.
  • Variations stay in the key and feel of your loop; fills and the drop are written for its drum parts.
  • It works on one loop at a time. It does not read audio files; Sample Flip does that.
